wtc7 collapsed

for the third time in history
fire brought down a steel building
reducing it to rubble

hold on folks
here we go

* The fires in WTC 7 were not evenly distributed, so a perfect collapse was impossible.
* Silverstein said to the fire department commander “the smartest thing to do is pull it.”
* Firefighters withdrawing from the area stated the building was going to “blow up”.
* The roof of WTC 7 visibly crumbled and the building collapsed perfectly into its footprint.
* Molten steel and partially evaporated steel members were found in the debris.

[WTC 7] contained offices of the FBI, Department of Defense, IRS (which contained prodigious amounts of corporate tax fraud, including Enron’s), US Secret Service, Securities & Exchange Commission (with more stock fraud records), and Citibank’s Salomon Smith Barney, the Mayor’s Office of Emergency Management and many other financial institutions. [Online Journal]

The SEC has not quantified the number of active cases in which substantial files were destroyed [by the collapse of WTC 7]. Reuters news service and the Los Angeles Times published reports estimating them at 3,000 to 4,000. They include the agency’s major inquiry into the manner in which investment banks divvied up hot shares of initial public offerings during the high-tech boom. …”Ongoing investigations at the New York SEC will be dramatically affected because so much of their work is paper-intensive,” said Max Berger of New York’s Bernstein Litowitz Berger & Grossmann. “This is a disaster for these cases.” [New York Lawyer]

Citigroup says some information that the committee is seeking [about WorldCom] was destroyed in the Sept. 11 terror attack on the World Trade Center. Salomon had offices in 7 World Trade Center, one of the buildings that collapsed in the aftermath of the attack. The bank says that back-up tapes of corporate emails from September 1998 through December 2000 were stored at the building and destroyed in the attack. [TheStreet]

Inside [WTC 7 was] the US Secret Service’s largest field office with more than 200 employees. …”All the evidence that we stored at 7 World Trade, in all our cases, went down with the building,” according to US Secret Service Special Agent David Curran. [TechTV]

Hot Off The Press

Daniel Sunjata

By Stephanie Barnes, January 2008.

Despite being cast in high-profile films and television shows such as The Devil Wears Prada, Rescue Me, and Law & Order, actor Daniel Sunjata’s presence has been relatively modest. With a Tony-award nomination in 2003 for his portrayal of a shiny happy person baseball player in Take Me Out under his belt, he also spares his time between theatre, television and playing the antagonist of the Bush administration by vocally expressing his advocacy for an independent investigation of 9/11.

While some actors teetering on the brink of A-list stardom sensibly ward off political talk, Sunjata proudly wears his conviction on his sleeve (and sometimes on a fashionable t-shirt). In this interview, he steers from the typical Hollywood fare and discusses his involvement with the 9/11 Truth Movement and why the American people should pay close attention to the moves of its government.

SM: What did you read or hear about that would make you think 9/11 was a conspiracy?

DS: The first time I heard about it was actually from my best friend who lives in Chicago. He said, “It looks like they blew those buildings up.” And I thought that was ridiculous at the time. But later, after hearing the analysis and opinions of so many credible experts and whistleblowers like Sibel Edmonds (former FBI translator) and William Christison (29-year CIA veteran), and doing years of my own research, it became apparent that our government, at the very least, was aware that the attacks were on the way and did nothing to stop it. And at the very worst, they were directly involved in planning them.

SM: Has it ever crossed your mind that your political views may be a hindrance to your career?

DS: It’s definitely possible when you consider the historical record of what happens when artists, academics, and political dissidents speak truth to power in fascist societies. But because I represent firefighters on television, specifically post 9/11 NYC firefighters, I’ve reached a point where I feel I have a responsibility to communicate what I know.

My involvement with the 9/11 Truth Movement came after I got the job on Rescue Me. The show preceded my interest in investigating 9/11, but I wanted to learn more about it because it’s also based on that event.

SM: Have you spoken to any of the firefighters who were at Ground Zero after the attacks?

DS: Yes, I have.

SM: What piqued your curiosity the most?

DS: There’s a physics professor by the name of Steven Jones from Brigham Young University who did some research focusing on pools of molten metal that were under towers one, two and seven. He wanted to know the specifics because the jet fuel from the planes could not burn hot enough to melt that amount of steel. Since there was no plane that hit tower seven, there was no jet fuel.

I spoke to some firefighters who were on the scene for weeks afterward looking for their brothers and survivors who said they had to replace their boots on a regular basis because they were melting. The fires were continuously burning underneath the rubble. This was weeks after the fact. A lot of them are asking the same questions, but they’re not stepping forward publicly because they’re afraid for their jobs. They talk about it amongst themselves. But if an entire body were to ask for a re-investigation of the 9/11 reports, I think that would help a lot. But I can understand why that won’t happen. It’s up to us to stand up for the firefighters, instead of the other way around.

SM: Do you think the truth about 9/11 has been revealed to its full extent and no one has decided to act upon this evidence or are there still missing pieces?

DS: There are scientists, intelligence professionals, architects, structural engineers, and government and military personal who are speaking out, and it’s astounding to me that our so-called free press has been totally silent on what obviously is front page news … the biggest story in our nation’s history in fact.

Seven senior republican appointees, highly decorated veterans including a top gun pilot, and more than six CIA whistleblowers and critics of the official version of events have officially called for a new and independent investigation with the power of subpoena; but it seems that the country is more concerned with whether The Patriots will go undefeated this season. I mean these are not crazed conspiracy theorists we’re talking about here. They are experts in their fields with immaculate track records and supreme pedigree whose doubts and concerns cannot be lightly dismissed. So why isn’t this front page news in every newspaper in America? It’s like the matrix or something. We’ve seemingly been mass hypnotized and sedated by television and prescription drugs. America needs to wake up before it’s too late.

SM: Have you discussed your views about 9/11 with Denis Leary, the creator of Rescue Me?

DS: I brought it up to Denis a while ago. And at the time, he didn’t agree. I’m not sure if he has taken a look at the evidence because when I first spoke to him, he hadn’t. But if you bring your politics into the workplace, sometimes you can lose your job. I don’t think Denis would fire me because of my political beliefs, but I don’t regularly bring up the issue at work with my bosses because I don’t how they’re going to react.

SM: What influenced your decision to become an actor/activist?

DS: I didn’t really discover my passion until I was in college. And unlike most people, I didn’t know which path I wanted to take. I decided to pursue a career in the arts because I wanted to – and forgive me for sounding cliché – make the world a better place [laughs]. To get people to talk and think about things. It doesn’t have to be something as political as the area of 9/11. The issue of 9/11 chose me more than I chose it because of a confluence of circumstances – the job on Rescue Me, my interest in 9/11 itself and a moral conscience to speak out.

The artists that I’m inspired by – not just in acting, but in the world of music – are those who stood up against injustice like Bob Marley, Harry Belafonte and Sidney Poitier. These are the kinds of men who expressed the ideals that have inspired me to at least try to be of service in the public eye and who used their celebrity to advocate for causes that were more important than themselves.

Former Governor Jesse Ventura: WTC Collapse A Controlled Demolition

Jesse Ventura

Navy veteran and movie star savages official story, says media covering up truth about attacks

Paul Joseph Watson
Prison Planet
Wednesday, April 2, 2008

Former Minnesota Governor Jesse Ventura vehemently savaged the official 9/11 story on a syndicated national radio show today, saying the WTC collapsed like a controlled demolition and was pulverized to dust as he also highlighted the impossible 10 second free fall speed of the towers.

Appearing on The Alex Jones Show, Ventura said that his initial reaction to 9/11 was much like most people at the time, and he accepted the official story outright, a response he now regrets because he was in a position of power and could have used it to raise a lot of pointed questions.

“I kicked myself when it initially happened that the light didn’t go off but I was so shocked that this thing had even taken place that I apologize for not being more aware,” said Ventura, adding that watching Loose Change at the insistence of his son was part of the catalyst for his wake up call.

Host Alex Jones is executive producer of Loose Change (get it here), the most watched Internet movie of all time. Ventura said he ran through a rollercoaster of emotions when he saw the film.

“When I finally did watch it I went through every emotion you could imagine, from laughing, crying, getting sick to my stomach, to the whole emotional thing,” said the former Governor.

“To me questions haven’t been answered and are not being answered about 9/11,” said Ventura, before highlighting the collapse of Building 7, a 47-story tall skyscraper that was not hit by a plane but collapsed in its own footprint in the late afternoon of September 11.

“Two planes struck two buildings….but how is it that a third building fell 5 hours later?” asked Ventura, “How could this building just implode into its own footprint 5 hours later – that’s my first question – the 9/11 Commission didn’t even devote one page to that in their big volume of investigation,” added the former Governor.

Ventura then explored how it was possible that all three buildings could rapidly collapse at almost free fall speed.

“How could those buildings fall at the speed of gravity – if you put a stopwatch on them both of those World Trade Center buildings were on the ground in ten seconds – how can that be?” asked Ventura.

“If you took a billiard ball and dropped it from the height of the World Trade Center in a vacuum it would hit the ground in 9.3 seconds and if you took that same billiard ball and dropped it 10 stories at a time and merely stopped it and started it it would take 30 seconds – if you dropped it every floor of the World Trade Center to the ground, simply stopping and starting it on gravity it would take over 100 seconds to reach the ground,” he surmised.

The former wrestling star then questioned how low-temperature burning jet fuel could melt steel.

“Jet fuel is four fifths kerosene – which is not a hot burning fuel – and they wanted us to believe it melted these steel structured girders and caused these buildings to pancake collapse to the ground?” he stated.

“I was on the site within two weeks after it happened and I saw none of these pancakes – wouldn’t they all be piled up in a huge mass on the ground and yet everything was blown into dust – when you look at it from that aspect none of it makes any sense,” said Ventura.

“Never before in the annuls of history has a fire caused a steel structure building to fall to the ground like these two did,” he concluded.

Having undergone Basic Underwater Demolition Seal training, Ventura is speaking from an experienced standpoint and he unequivocally stated that he thought the buildings were deliberately imploded.

“Upon looking at the film in super-slow motion and the way the buildings fell and comparing that to the way that they do like a controlled demolition of a hotel in Las Vegas, they both fell identical.”

“I did watch the film of Building 7 going down and in my opinion there’s no doubt that that building was brought down with demolition,” said the former Governor.

Ventura also questioned the lack of wreckage outside of the Pentagon after Flight 77 allegedly struck the building.

“When I was watching Loose Change with a friend of mine – he happens to work for a company that helps build the Boeing airplanes and they said that when the engines completely disappeared and were destroyed, his response was, excuse my French – bullshit!,” said Ventura.

“I turned to him and said why and he said because they’re made of titanium steel – they can’t disintegrate.”

Ventura said that the corporate media were going to continue to cover-up the truth about 9/11, but that the number of credible people speaking out and increasing education and knowledge about the subject would eventually reap dividends.

“We don’t want to lose our country, after all it’s still our country and until they put us down we have the power,” Ventura concluded.

The Governor’s bold comments about 9/11 come on the heels of similar views expressed by American icon Willie Nelson during an interview on the same radio show in February.
